Job Description
MGI Malta is seeking to engage a Senior Auditor and an Assistant Auditor to assist in servicing local and international clients. The successful candidate will form part of a young team and work on a range of clients operating in a diverse range of industries.
You will be expected to apply your knowledge to:
• Conduct assurance assignments effectively,
• Compile and review financial statements in accordance with GAPSME and IFRSs and within defined timeframes,
• Performing other audit and assurance engagements.
The successful candidates should:
• Be able to demonstrate adequate communication skills and be a team player
• Be able to work on own initiative, with minimum supervision
• Deliver a service that is of the highest quality to exceed clients’ expectations
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with the client’s personnel
• Be accountable for engagements from start to finish

Minimum Qualifications Required
Applicants must have a degree in Accountancy or a similar qualification or be in the process of obtaining one. Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), GAPSME and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) will be given preference.
Minimum Accounting Experience Required
We are seeking candidates with at least two years of experience working in a similar environment, however applicants with less experience will also be considered. Moreover, you will be expected to possess excellent English spoken and written skills, a good analytical mind and be prepared to work seamlessly within a small audit team.
